1st May 2010. Diving at Poris & Abades.

It was lovelyto welcom back Chantelle & Ade for some more diving in Tenerife. We also had some new divers Marissa & Leigh, who joined us for a spot of diving at Poris Pier & Abades beach.

2nd May 2010. Scuba Diver course with Lesley, Chloe & Melissa.

Well done Chloe & Melissa for completing your scuba diver courses. We are very happy that you had fun in the water. We look forward to doing some more diving with you in October when you return. Lesley we are glad you decided to do it as a referral and have some one on one with Mary in October.

2nd May 2010. Open Water upgrade with Chris Talbot.

After a nervous start in the pool, you manged to complete all your skills. We then went for 2 dives at Alcala, where we was greeted by the resident Turtle. We also saw some nudibranchs and lots of other life. You then said that you was worried about the exam!

Well you should not have worried at all. Mary was over the moon that you joined the 100% club and you should be very proud of yourself. Youare never to old to learn to dive.

Congratulations on your Open Water course. Tomorrow we start the Advanced.

5th May 2010. Advanced Open Water course with Chris.

Straight into the advanced open water course after upgrading to Open water diver..WOW.

Well done Chris for doing your advanced course with Deep, Navigation, Digital underwater photography, PPB and night dives.

We all think you did a fabulous job and can't wait to dive with you again.

We hope you will be joining us on our group holiday to Egypt.

8th May 2010. Official opening of Amarilla Divers new Dive Center

Well after a long few months of preparation, meetings and shopping. We final opened the doors to our new dive center in Golf Del Sur Tenerife.

we are now situated on the Apartments Aguamarina Golf in Golf Del Sur. We have 2 new pools to do all our confine work in, plus we have our house reef to take Discover Scuba Diving courses.

We are now in the process of waiting for our PADI number and as soon as it arrives we will update on our news pages.

Amarilla Divers would like to thank all their family, friends and divers, for their continued support in the past few years.

10th - 14th May 2010. Diving with Amy.

Amy is back! It has been 4 months since her Open water course and she definitely has the bug. Amy rejoined Amarilla Divers for some diving in Tenerife. We managed to get to Playa Paraiso and play with some Bull Rays, trigger fish and cutlle fish. We then went along to El Puertito and the turtles came to play. With other dives at the house reef, San Miguel wall, Yellow mountain and the Marina, a goo dtime was had by all.

We know you will be back before Christmas. See you soon

18th - 22nd May 2010. Open Water Upgrade with Ryan.

Well well, what a week we had. Congratulations to Ryan for successfully completing his open water upgrade course with Amarilla Divers.

We had lots of fun and you gave us some laughs. It was nice to take you to the turtles as well after your course.

We look forward to seeing you soon with your Dad and possibly your brother.

18th - 22nd May 2010. Advanced course with Neil.

A big congratulations to Neil for completing his Advaced Open Water course. You were an absolute pleasure to teach and we are so pleased you chose Amarilla Divers to take your course with.

Your buoyancy improved greatly throughout the course and you even managed an extra dive with the Turtles.

We so look forward to seeing you again.

24th May 2010. DSD with Julian.

Julian was making a return to the water after 20 years. WOW!

After training with BSAC 20 years ago and doing only a hand full of dives, Julian popped in to Amarilla Divers for a Discover Scuba Diver course. Julian you were brilliant in the pool and we are so happy that you manged to see one of our sting rays on the house reef.

We hope this has re-newed your passion for diving.

29th May 2010. Neil's Staff Instructor.

Amarilla divers is pleased to announce that our Neil has successfully completed his PADI IDC Staff instructor course, with Course Director Dave Taylor.

He has spent the last week at the IDC center in Costa Del Silencio. Working with Dave and the students, he managed to pass his course with Ease.

Congratulations Neil , well done you. We look forward to your further development to Master Instructor.

31st May 2010. DSD with Kate & Jessi.

Today was family Talbot day. We were joined by Kate, Jessi & Sophie for our Discover Scuba Diving Program.

Sophie did not like having 12 inch long feet, so decided that snorkelling would be better..

Mum Kate and sister Jessi went for the whole course and successfully managed to complete their DSD. After a session in the pool and a dive at Abades, they collected their certificates and smiles were everywhere.

Sophie did however take a liking to our Jack!. Watch out girls, there may be competition.!
